The race select windows shows the names the eleven races of VGA Planets. The names listed in green have game data present on your system. The red names do not have any data present.
Click on your races command button to start playing.
If your race is using a password you will be asked to enter it.
You can also turn WAV file sound effects off and on here. You can turn off the MIDI music sound tracks for the VCR (Visual Combat Recorder) by deselecting the MIDI.
The Game List command button will take you back to the UNPACK and path setup menu.
The MAKETURN button will form your TRN file (your turn file). This is the file that you transfer to the host computer or person running the game. The TRN files will be made in the directory that was given in the Game List TRN path.
You press this button when you have finished playing your turn. This will pack your data and move your PLAYER??.TRN file to your Upload Directory. Only press this if you are done with your turn. If you go back into your turn and change any commands you must click this button again before exiting the program and uploading your TRN file to the Host.
